This is a great career opportunity for an experienced, delivery-focused leader to play a key role in shaping the company culture as it moves from start-up to scale-up. 

We are looking for someone who has had ownership of projects from inception until after release, and who is familiar with observability, product metrics, and maintainability.

Day-to-day, you will work hands-on within a product team mentoring other engineers, reviewing code and documentation, and promoting initiatives to improve our code quality, maintainability, and development experience.

We have a Front End guild with members from all product teams to lead the architectural evolution of the website. You will be one of the guild leaders, responsible for reviewing proposals from other guild members.

About You

• 4+ years of experience in a hands-on Technical Leadership role (Tech Lead, Engineering Manager, Staff or equivalent)
• Extensive experience with React building complex enterprise applications
• A body of work in design systems
• High ownership and accountability for projects
• Experience with Jest, Mocha or other common testing libs
• High communication skills in a remote-first company with a diverse workforce
  
  

Bonus Points

• NextJS or similar
• Knowledge of server-side rendering techniques and architectures
• Experience with cypress for e2e tests
• Prior work on real-time systems such as WebSockets, stock tickers, or videogames
• Experience and prior work with Redux
• Having developed or extended a dashboarding platform
